I Masoom Khare have completed Masters in Environment Planning from CEPT University, Ahmedabad and also in Geography with specialization in Remote Sensing & GIS from BHU University, Varanasi . I have worked for 5 years in Govt. sector as well as in NGO in Urban/Environment Planning sector wherein I have worked on preparation of various maps on Arc- Gis for spatial analysis as a part of project requirement. I am familiar with Collecting and interpreting geographical data for urban planning use. maintaining and utilizing database information and creating maps ,collecting geographical data and mapping projections, spatial analysis etc. During my profession as an urban planner I have worked on different projects like development plan, City Sanitation plan. The functions performed in Arc-Gis are Procurement of high resolution satellite image from google earth pro for preparation of land use plan,manipulated, analysed, interpreted, referenced and edited data from many sources and in many formats to produce land use maps. Some of the maps produced as part of project is attached for reference. My areas of strength in gis are as follows •procurement of high resolution image for the preparation of base map for spatial analysis. •Data collection, digitizing map features, populating and updating attribute .information, geospatial data management and designing appropriate map labelling for land use/Land cover mapping/Land suitability analysis/image processing.
