Hello,
I have started building an employee training scheduler & certification tracker. I am attaching the template (training mockup) that has notes/comments on each sheet. Below is the goal of each sheet - going left to right - and approximate time holder for each sheet
1) Allow end user to put in employee names, position (drop down) & email. A form isn't needed - People Input sheet - 30 minutes
2) Input training courses, duration of course and capacity - Inputs sheet - 1 hour
3) Schedule date/time of each training type - Training Scheduler - 1 hour
4) Schedule specific employees for specific training courses with date/times - 1.5 hours
5) A calendar that shows training information and allows you to filter multiple (by position, course type, employee) ways. Excel Powerpivot may be useful here or I could see using this template [login to view URL] as a starting point for this and the people tracker - Training sheet - 2 hours
6) Show employees training status - People tracker - 1.5 hours
7) Ability to print peoples training status - 30 minutes
8) Change look of template to company colors, font, etc. - 1 hour
9) One dashboard sheet that gives overall status of training - 1 hour
I am also attaching the vacation tracker template that may be able to take the place of the 2 mentioned sheets . Again the times are placeholders and there are more details to discuss. Please let me know if you have any questions.
