Simple Magento Extension Module

We want to develop a simple custom Magento extension to add a custom configurable product options to an order. The configuration options for each product will be 4-5 drop down selection boxes and 5-6 jQuery slider bars (the slider bars are each linked together). The options function much like a recipe. When an end user goes to our ecommerce store and selects Product A, each of these configurable options will be presented to them in as either a drop down box or jQuery slider bar, as applicable, for selection. We currently have a working model of the jQuery slider bars (ie configurator) built in php that displays how we we would like the options to function within the Magento product. The model can be seen at: [login to view URL] You can play around with the example to get a good idea of what we are looking for. We want our configurator made into a Magento extension which adds these configurable options to a product that are currently not built into Magento. Upon selection of the programmer, we will give you the algorithm that the configurator uses to accomplish the desired configuration effect. You would be responsible for replicating the same desired effect. Please provide any examples of Magento extensions you have built in the past.
