Delphi: Speed optimize three string functions

Please find attached a sample project that includes a benchmark of three simple string functions: 1) StringCompareBegin(ShortStr, LongStr) - A case insensitive comparison that returns true if LongStr begins with ShortStr 2) StringCompareEnd(ShortStr, LongStr) - A case insensitive comparison that returns true if LongStr ends with ShortStr 3) TrimEx(InputStr, RemoveCharacters) - A case insensitive function that returns a version of InputStr with any characters of RemoveCharacters string removed from the beginning and end of the InputStr Your job is to write these three functions in a way they still work exactly the same way (i.e. produce the same output) but faster. The code must work with Delphi 10.4 with unicode strings (i.e. you cannot assume the input strings are A to Z only). The code can be either Delphi (i.e. pure pascal) or using inline assembler within Delphi code. You are free to use any free-to-use open source code assuming the code is BSD or similar licensed.
