Clean shapefiles using the free software QGIS Step 1: Colour the points and the polygons according to a id column of the shapefiles Step 2: Modify the polygons such that all the points of the same colour (id) are in the same polygon Step 3: Fill all 'holes' and 'intersections' in the polygons The task takes around 45 minutes per map. There are about 20 maps. IT experience, especially with shapefiles, is desired.
