This project requires experience in configuring and coding atMega chips to run low power (for long battery life). The prototype this project is based on has been developed and proven with the standard Arduino platform. I want to take this prototype and progress it to a minimum configuration, that put the chip into lower power (ideally 1uA) while in non processing mode (10 seconds) then wakes to perform 1 second of processing / measurement. The prototype uses 4 analog inputs (1 x pressure sensor, 3 x 4 position rotary switches), 12 digital I/O as outputs, 2 analog as digital outputs. When the processor determines an error, an alarm is latched on. The aim of this project is to move closer to the production version, with long lasting battery capability. Future projects may include wifi data logging. More detail will be provided to those interested. Prior experience with ISP / Fusing is required.

I am a computer systems engineer and electronics technician with over 20 years combined experience. I work purely freelance and have an extensive workshop where I can develop software and test on custom hardware. I have spent many 100s of hours programming atmega chips in assembly language as well C/C++ and the Arduino environment. I have experience working with the fuses, watch dog timers and altered processing states of the atmega chips. Recently I have completed a project for a digital interface for a musical instrument as well as GPS tracking and monitoring equipment on garbage trucks, industrial control equipment for a small carpentry workshop and video switching gear. I am a computer systems engineer and electronics technican with 20 years combined experience. I have spent many hours programming atmega chips in asembly as well. The requirement for this project seem to be leaning towards an arduino mega as the prototype with a dedicated PCB design as the next step beyound the prototype. I look forward to hearing from you. Please visit my freelancer profile. I have completed 3 projects in ARDUINO. Visit The Administrator removed this message for containing contact details which breaches our Terms of Service my firm's site. Because the skills mention in the projects I have completed do not mention ARDUINO, my reviews score will seem less. Check PMB.
