Google Maps/Baidu Maps API customisation in Wordpress Real Estate site -

We're seeking for an PHP specialist with API experience who can join us in customising our current maps feature on a property/real estate WordPress website. Project summary: - Develop Baidu Maps feature with the same frontend look and backend functionality as it is for the currently existing Google Maps feature (Mobile and Desktop) - Change existing pages from Google Maps to Baidu Maps - Ensure newly added pages make use of Baidu Maps ***Goal***: All existing ~530 pages on the website show Baidu Maps (not Google Maps). In case new properties are added, they need to use Baidu Maps. ------- Further details: - The Baidu Maps feature needs to be applied to 3 different types of pages: 1) Search page, 1 page - this pins all properties on a map 2) Property details page, all 530 pages - this pins only one property on a map 3) Contact page, 1 page - this pins the location of the business on the map - Styling wise in the frontend, the location should be shown in the same way life before (not a pin but a radius) How editors currently use the maps feature for property: - The content writer enters /wp-admin and adds a new property. - While editing, at the bottom of the editing screen the writer manually enters the Google Maps location - The 'Google Maps Address' field in the /wp-admin editing panel is where the address is entered by the writer. After writing the address, Google will populate suggested addresses - After the writer selects the address, Google Maps will drop a pin at the exact location - Styling wise in the frontend, the pin has been edited to show a red color radius instead of a pin.
