We are developing a multiplayer cross-platform (PC, Android, iOS, Mac, Unix, Web etc.) game, Quiz Jungle, which features quiz MCQ(multiple-choice questions) in eight categories: - General (Entertainment, Politics, Sports, Music, Films, etc.) - Geography - History - Language - Literature - Maths - Philosophy - Science Your job will be to proofread 24000 questions, 3000 questions on each category, which will be set by highly qualified freelancers. As a reference, some sample files have been attached. You should follow the format precisely in that file. The difficulty ratings in the sample files mean: 1-10: pre-school 11-20: lower primary 21-30: upper primary 31-40: lower secondary 41-50: upper secondary 51-60: college 61-70: university year 2 71-80: bachelor's honours 81-90: master's / doctorate 91-100: professor In particular, you should check to make sure: - there are no typos - the grammar is correct - the sentence structures are correct and succinct - the language expressions are not awkward - the difficulty rating at the bottom of each question is reasonable - the images are correct - the first answer option is the correct answer, (This may be hard, but try. It is true most of the times.) - the questions are varied and not repeated - there is only one correct answer and the four answer options are not unreasonably close The project will start on 15 Oct. You MUST (I say MUST!) complete this project by 10 Nov. You should not bid on this project if you can't work full-time for this. The game will bear your name on the Credits page.

Dear Employer, I originally bid for $100 because the website takes a 10% fee once you accept the project, but my rate for proofreading 24,000 quiz questions will be $1,300 USD which is roughly $20 USD per 1,000 questions (I assume about 3-4,000 words.) I would like to point out that I hold a degree in English language and literature with 3.9 GPA and that I am willing to work full time on this project as I have no ongoing projects at this moment. I also guarantee on-time delivery of the finished work which will be 100% impeccable with no grammar errors, and make sense syntactically and semantically. Although I work alone, I think it's worth mentioning that I have a team of two native English (US) speakers that I could outsource some of the questions to if I am behind schedule. (I am ONLY bringing this up as a back up and last resort option for the purpose of assuring you that I am willing and can get the job done on time no matter the circumstances and will make it my priority.)
