We have a software that we are running on Windows XP. We do not want users to tamper with any of the windows setting (similar to kiosk, or cafe concepts). We want once boot up, our software will run and can only shut down from our software. Requirements 1. Boot up normally from Windows XP (if possible, display our logo during bootup until our software is auto-launched) 2. Once bootup, automatically start our defined programme/software 3. Disable any means to get out of the our programme (eg cannot alt+tab to switch between programmes, ctl+alt+del to task manager etc) 4. Shut down Windows only via our programme (or via power button) 5. Press a Function Key (eg F5) will prompt a password window and allow us to get back to Windows shell • Check out Geo Shell [login to view URL] and google on how to disable windows shell and explorer • Must not hack windows, or install any non-freeware application • Can only edit registry if neccessary
