change a navigation menu look and feel in the code

I have an ecommerce store in shopify and I want the main navigation menu to be on one line across and it is coming in to three rows down (view image). I have uploaded and image of net-a-porters site as an example of how I want it to look in terms of all menu tabs being on one singular row. I have contacted shopify help and they said in order to amend this, the code needs to be changed. Or I change the theme of the website but I do not want to change the theme. All I want to change is the main menu bar. I cannot code so I need some help...
