Class Registration System

A basic website to include all the following including social media connections. The website is allowing students to learn about our company, and register and pay for classes. I will add additional pages as I see fit. A class registration system where I can list classes, location for classes, instructors, companies and students. System will allow administrators to add classes and set maximum size for class, and choose an instructor from a drop down list to teach the class. Each class location will have a set of dates that the class is taught at that location along with hours of the class. This should include google maps for the student to find the directions and map of the site by clicking on the address of the class. There will be a message board where the administrators can leave messages for instructors. The instructors will be able to access the class and location information of all classes assigned to them, but will not be able to change it. The instructors will be required to check a box stating they can teach the class and an email sent back to the administrator of the acceptance. Instructors will be able to view and print off a roster of students that are attending their class, and the amount owed by each student. Students will be able to browse the system by a variety of methods including the state the class is taught in, the city the class is taught in, the type of class, and location. They can register themselves for the class by inputting their company name, address and email information if applicable, their own name, address and email address and the class they would like to register for. They have the option of registering one or more students for either the same class or a different class. They have the option of paying via credit card, e-check or mailing in a payment. Once registered, the information is stored in the database and an email is sent both to the administrator stating all the information about the attendee and also an email to the attendee stating they are registered. Approximately 3 days before class, an email reminder is sent to the student. The database will be in SQL and a variety of reports will be available such as companies and students that have registered for classes. The company table will included all company name, address, phone, fax, contact information such as email and a comments field. The location table will include the location of the class including name, address, contact information and room charges and a comments field The class table will include the dates and times of the classes. and a comments field The student table will include student name, address, email, phone contact information and a comments field. The payment table will include all payments made by the student including date, check no and amount paid The score table will include the score the student received, when and the class key of the class they took the course in. The instructor table will include the name, address, contact info including home phone, cell phone, fax number, email address, an indicator if the instructor is active or inactive, along with a comments field. The administrator will also be able to email the student information concerning their class and allow the administrator to attach files such as pdf files. The student should be able to log in to the system to view details of their class and the score results of their class A form will be able to view all classes taught by location indicating the number of students in the class. A number of reports to pull information concerning the various tables listed above. I will provide a sample of some of the reports needed upon request.
