Greetings, To make the proposed system (and i am only referring to the Android aspect of it) a user friendly system I would recommend NOT implementing it via WebView. At the end of the day the user will need to access his calendar in times of low or zero network hence your app should not rely on its presence. What is needed is a pure breed android app. Such an app should communicate using some sort of http protocol with your server and sync data back ad forth. The device-side app should display its content inside an Android activity (screen logic). You may also consider (i feel it is mandatory but.. your call) sync-ing data between your own app and the default android calendar, so that events added/modified in the default Cal. will also be visible in yours. As for the server sync being as 'immediate' as possible. If that is a major issue i would recommend using the Android C2DM technology which allows for a server notifier (=minute msg) push into device. BR Gilad
