Help with Joomla Site

Hello I am having trouble with a Joomla site which was designed by indianelite (aka cheapestandbest). They are not returning my emails. Please see the email dated 18 September below, look at [login to view URL], and quote for resolving the issues mentioned in the email at the bottom of the trail. (I have deleted contact info to comply with GAF rules.) I have been away on business and am now just getting back to the website. I can upload articles through [login to view URL], so on that level the site works. However, e.g., when I go to the category manager I only have the following categories:- 1 Latest News 2 Test Cat 3 Newsflash 4 Example FAQs and I can't find any of the categories in the site.
