Design Website Header & Site Background

Hello, I am starting up a new Wordpress website that will cover internet marketing solutions. These solutions include suggested tools, strategies, and solutions internet marketers can use to help make their online business a success. I will also offer personal suggestions based on my IM experience, etc. What I need is a custom designed header and a simple background image for my website. I use the "Socrates" Wordpress theme and it will allow me to upload custom header and background images. It comes with several headers and backgrounds but I do not feel any will represent the look and feel of my site very well. The header MUST be 960px X 150px. The background image should be such a size that the file is not too large which will make the site slow in loading. And it does not have to be anything fancy. The plainer the better. I will provide you the link to the site as it looks right now using the included header and background that comes with Socrates. This will give you an idea what the fonts and content area of the Socrates theme looks like. My aim is to have a site that provides great content and added value solutions that will help Internet Marketers succeed with their online business.
