BAKERY BILLING SYSTEM is a Windows application used to facilitate the billing process of different bakeries and to simplify billing process by designing a good user interface. 1.1 Project description: Bakery billing software is general software developed for bakery .this software will help them to do billing and maintain database. This software will help the vendor to easily calculate the bill without any manual work, and can easily select the required item demanded by the customer. This will not create any human error and will generate the payment slip for the customer, which maintains transparency in the following job. Existing System At present Bakery and Confectionary shops maintain their day to day transactions manually. They generally use billing machine to billing but this machine is not effective for them because it is having lot of drawbacks, apart from this they can’t maintain stock, purchase and sales transaction regularly. They need full pledged software to maintain their day to day transactions. Proposed System The proposed system helps them in many ways. It helps them do billing very easily. Account maintenance also becomes easier. The software is provided with all the master entries to enter any new product, or supplier, or customer to add or modify and delete. 2 1.2 OBJECTIVES: 1. Maintain the information and details of all products available in bakery by their weights and price in the database. 2. Maintain a login page for shop vendor and store username and password in database. 3. Provide a menu page which will show all the categories of products available in database. 4. Will provide an option for calculating total of each category of product. 5. At last will provide a payment option which will calculate payable amount by the costumer and will generate payment slip.
