Compressor Controls Corporation (CCC) is looking for a qualified individual to create some short 3D animation clips to be used for educational purposes. The final deliverables consist of following 2 video clips: - 1st clip showing healthy compressor operation - 2nd clip showing abnormal compressor operation (surge) A detailed story board will be provided in PowerPoint upon request. Once the 1st clip is complete, we will review your work. This is a quick turn-around project requiring applicant to complete the work by the end of September 2014. We will allow stills (photos) from the final clips to be used as your portfolio (no direct sharing of video clips, however). I'm a 3d generalist specialised on photorealistic renderings and vfx. Completion time would be around 1 week, depending on your feedback. Reviewing the work after the 1st clip is completed isn't the most efficient way, since the whole clip might have to be redone. There should be feedback of the overall look of the model and it's materials at first, from a still frame, then more feedback about the camera/particles motion from a low-resolution preview animation, and only after that should the rendering of the clip proceed. The storyboard (preferably in a bigger resolution than the attached sample) should be enough to get started. Cheers!
