Desktop application - repost

Requirement: Create a desktop application which can import and export excel files. The app can be used to input data into up to 40 fields of variables to create different templates. Simply put: I need to be able to modify product information in a visually appealing fashion. I am currently using Excel to carefully modify product information. Most of the variables on the spreadsheet remain the same, only up to five fields require changes whenever I need to add new products. I need to be able create a template with variables A,B,C,D etc for template ONE, and a second one with variables E,F,G,H, etc. The app needs to be able to store all the different templates. Please have a look at how the attached Excel template looks like. I would like to have a solution that is visually appealing and vertical rather than horizontal, similar to inputting data into a form. Upon submission an Excel spreadsheet is created or a text tab delimited file, which I can then save onto my computer. Please note that the order of variables might need to be changed.
