Hi I have been working with MSSQL for over 17 years. I am fully experienced as a developer and a DBA. Currently I am working at big financial organization in which I am responsible for the BI department. I have designed and the Developed the Organization’s Reporting Database which has been constructed with SQL Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition. The database is being updated daily from the core system with txt or excel files via SSIS or with direct connection at mainframe’s DB2 and a numerous of KPIS are being daily updated during the ETL. For isolation reasons the KPIS are replicated to another DB (with transactional replication) which exploits the reports via SSRS to the consumers. Some KPIS are being replicated with merged (bidirectional) replication. Also, 10 Cubes in SSAS are being daily automatically processed and the end of the ETL. Several other reports are daily automatically produced and sent via email to the recipients. Finally I have designed and developed the bank’s crm DB which is published on the intranet. The DB holds full information about the customers (Customers,Addresses , Financial Data , Contacts , campaigns , etc) and covers 4 countries. To achieve this i have made partitions over the country code. The size of the Reporting DB, is about 4TB and consists of about 4.000 objects and the replicated KPI DB is 350GB. Best Regards mpalgeo

Hi, My name is Ron Bowes and I have beena a software developer for over 20 years. I have also been a DB admin just as long. I have been working with SQL since version 6, and work with it on a daily base. I have also worked with Oracle, FoxPro, DBase, and a few smaller database. I have not done any work within the Financial Banking area, but data is data, and I have been working with many levels of data my entire carrier. The largest system I have worked with to date was almost 12TB. I have a very strong ability at looking at data, understanding the models, and what is needed by the client, and getting them the results and information they need and want. I have also work with Crystal Reports since version 10. I do not have the degree you are looking for but I do have the experience. I have gotten a lot of training in different area like EDI, SQL, Server Management, Software development, and others. Both at collages, and dedicated courses. I taught myself how to program in Borland c++ 3 for dos when I was 13,and I got my 1st programming/IT job 6 months out of high school.
