"display case" show page - any logged in user can create a display case page by selecting items (from database) 2. ideas / discussion forum/message board - with forem gem if we can link to users' accounts, otherwise we'll just link to outside app (nothing would need to be built) 3. Generate a newsletter PDF from template (user enters text fields and uploads single image to create PDF to print or email) 4. Generate a meeting agenda PDF from template (user enters text fields to create PDF to print or email) 5. Generate an attendance roster PDF from template (user enters names and meeting date(s)) to create PDF to print) 6. Job Chart generator - user enters 1) a list of names, 2) a list of jobs, and 3) number of meetings total - to create a list of which name does which job at each meeting 7. Generate a simple budget worksheet to track expenses and balance

Hi, Please see the following clarifications/questions on each of the tasks. 1. If items is just a record in the database, and a case is just a list of items, then this shouldn't be hard to do. 2. no experience with forem gem but a quick look gives the impression that it's just a standard rails engine. as long as you're not running rails 2, we won't have an issue. 3 - 5. I'm thinking of using wkhtmltopdf to create the pdfs. As long as there's already an html template, it shouldn't be hard to convert them to pdfs 6. not sure about this one. given a list of names and jobs and a number of meetings, how would I know which is associated to which? If it's a generator, is it random or are there rules? 7. assuming expenses and balances are already in the database, and this is just data presentation, not a biggie. Cheers
