I have more than 20 years’ experience working in the international HR/recruitment industries. I currently run my own HR/job seeker consultancy, and I assist job seekers with the preparation of highly professional resumes and cover letters.
To be completely honest with you, someone with your background and experience should shy away from a 'designer' resume. Fancy resumes are usually for people either working in the creative industries (e.g. graphic designers, fashion marketers, that sort of thing) or people just starting out in their career (they're the ones who usually haven't yet got much of a feel for the types of resume writing/formats that employers find attractive. So although the examples you've attached are very nice, and they would catch a potential employer's eye, almost certainly they would actually detract from the sense of your experience and professionalism and so catch their eye for the wrong reason.
Your existing resume is much closer to what I'd expect from someone of your level/experience. My main recommendations would be to change the font/size, and edit the text so it's less wordy (which is why you've probably opted for a smaller than usual font size).
I'd be very happy to help you with this, as it's something I help job seekers with all the time.
With many thanks and kind regards,
Christy Morgan
