Cron job creation

I have a VPS linux box hosted with servint.com. One of the sites I manage has a downloadable application that is an .exe file. I need a programmer to code a cron job that will grep the prior day's raw server logfiles, look for that file and spit out an email at 0001 hours with the number of times that file was successfully or completely downloaded from the server and also writes this information to a downloadable Excel file that has seven columns on it related to the downloaded file: DATE TIME FILENAME LOCATION OF USER BY COUNTRY IP ADDRESS OF USER BROWSER AND VERSION OPERATING SYSTEM I would like to be able to have this created but also have the programmer check to make sure a cron job is in place that will not let our logfiles get too large. The idea is that we need better reporting on a software program to tell us how many people download the file. We already know how many people install it. The piece of information we are missing is the number of downloads. We wish to do this without requiring the user to enter an email address - i.e. to have an open download process without barriers. The Excel sheet should be in .csv or .txt tab-delineated format. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Linux VPS with CPANEL
