Hi, I'm looking for a very simple and effective method. I need a solution to the following; If I was to upload a .pdf file to Wordpress 'media', I would require either; a) For that file to be password protect. So when I sent the direct link to the client, he/she would be prompted with a simple 'password' box which will allow them to fully download the file. b) A code was to be generated after the file was uploaded. This code would then be sent to the client e.g. "ekj894" for which they insert this code into a simple 'password' form which allows them access to the .pdf file. The file must be behind some sort of 'password'. I.E. No public member could access the file with direct link. Look forward to your replies
