a program to build an index for a text book and allow a user to query the index

This assignment deals with the construction of an index for a text book. You are provided with an ilustration of an Abstract Data Type (ADT) - index, with a well-defined interface. An instance of ADT Index can accomodate the entire index of a book, i.e. an alphabatically ordered list of distinct words and for each word, an ordered list of distinct page numbers. A schematic diagram of a binary tree-based representation of the Index ADT is given in the attached files as well as full explanation of the program. The program is to be written strictly in C, to be able to run under unix environment
