This is so easy...at least I think so.
I need a Windows app that can check a text file for two different kinds of Delimiters. A toggle to change between the two different kinds would be awesome.
The text files are standard ANSI formated sentences. The delimiters are { | } and { ^ } and [ | ] and [ ^ ]. The only delimiters that I am concerned about are the { } and the [ ] ones.
Example of Simple Nesting { some words | other words }
or
Example of Simple Nesting [ some words ^ other words ]
These text files feed into a larger system. So being able to detect and flag files that have Nested delimiters would be great - this called Complex Nesting.
Example of Complex Nested { some words { more words } other words }
or
Example of Complex Nested [ some words [ more words ] other words ]
When one delimiter like { } is being used then the other should not be used unless it is part of a sentence structure...you may flag it if you detect it. And likewise for the [ ] delimiters.
If you want to add checks for make sure that at least one of the center delimiters is being used then that would be great as well.
Example:
Example of Nested { some|words { more|words } other|words }
or
Example of Nested [ some^words [ more^words ] other^words ]
I would like to have a simple desktop app that is easy to install without any Microsoft restrictions like .Net Framework.
Thanks!
