Custom Sharepoint Portal 2003 WebPart - Countdown Timer

This bid request is to commission the creation of a small "Countdown" webpart to be inserted into our Sharepoint Portal Intranet. (We use Microsoft's Sharepoint Portal Server 2003 on a MS SQL database.) What the applet should do is say, in a large font "XX days left to XYZ". The days left will be calculated from a date set in the properties for the webpart, as will the custom text that follows. The font size, color, and anything else you can think of should be customizable in the properties screen. We also require an installer to add the necessary permissions to the Sharepoint files. To complete this project you will obviously need MS Visual Studio .NET and the custom SharePoint developer extensions. We will not be supplying these. In your bid PLEASE state whether you have done this sort of work before, and please PROVIDE DETAILS about what you have done with .NET & SharePoint in the past so I know you have read this paragraph and have actual experience doing this. I will award the project to whomever does that the best. Also, this will only be used on an internal intranet. You will retain the rights to sell this webpart to other parties if you so choose. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
