I worked on the same issue about videos , I compare that their watermark and fingerprinted name inside the file header by ffmpeg etc.

I am a student at a top five computer science university and complete your project using audio fingerprinting.

Hi, I'm Senior developer, might write script that compare and verifies if files are duplicates. Might create script that runs on windows, mac or linux. I may say that size uniquely identifies mp3 usually. -Sergii
