Hi ALl, I am looking for a solutions for some simple work i now do manually. I have a link like this: [login to view URL] But i need only the link url untill the "& sign". All other numbers and letters after the & SIGN must be deleted. I have a big list of these kind of url's and looking for a wat to cut them all in once. Mabey there is a way to cut it by using a code in Excel. csv. Any option wil be ok with me. Kind regards

Hello, I have a very simple and effective solution for you. You just need a simple free software, Libre Office or Open Office. There is a nice command, text to columns, that will transform all rows from 1 column into 2 columns, by a separator that you'll choose, in your case "&". Like that you'll have 1 col with left side and another one with right side. I will show you exactly how you can do this . Best Regards, Constantin Plaiasu

Hello, Here's the formula you need in excel, assuming the link is in cell A1: =LEFT(A1,FIND("&",A1)-1) This formula could very easily be applied to a whole list in excel. Wouldn't take a minute.
