Completing Bid Specification for Website Development Project

I have a Website building project that will be put on RAC for bidding next month. For this, I need help in preparing bid specifications. I need comments, suggestions, tips, advice, and criticism from people who have experience with this kind of website development. Please remember that this is only to help me write specifications for an upcoming project, and NOT a bid request for actually building the website. I will choose more than one bidder at the end of bidding to get a better perspective and broader opinion. The attached CorelDraw and Word documents, show the layout and most of the specs. The layout (including content location, all colors, text specs like font and size) have been decided. Phase 1 is the project for which you have to write bid specifications. However, you should also read Phase 2 and remember that these are longer term plans. Technologies, platforms, CMSs, hosting solutions, languages, modules etc of Phase 1 should not conflict with Phase 2. Criterion for Selecting Bidders: explain in a few lines why you would be the right candidate to help me come up with these specifications. Please add links to similar projects you have done that demonstrates that you can come up with good specs for a similar project. You need to have actual project experience, and have an overall understanding of my needs and their solutions. I prefer people who have worked on RAC-bid projects before, and who I can award not only this bid spec preparation project, but also the actual website building project to be listed on RAC next month. Successful bidders are not required to write formal bid spec documents or have perfect English. Rather, please demonstrate a good understanding of my needs and explain how they can be cost-effectively and technologically implemented while keeping the website efficient, error-free, fast-loading and a smooth experience for users. ## Deliverables Winning bidders should: At a minimum, please submit detailed answers (as a text file) to the eight questions I ask in the attached Word document, giving reasons, costs (where appropriate), and making comparisons with other technologies / platforms / providers.. In addition, if you have any supporting documents, illustrations, comments or critiques, please submit them in any format of your choice. ## Platform IE, Firefox and other commonly used browsers.
