1. Create user-friendly graphical user interfaces that enable the user to navigate between forms. 2. Use VB code to integrate Excel (5%), Word for Windows (5%) and MS Access (10%) in order to meet the implementation requirements (Graphical User Interface). (Question 1 and 2, 20%) 3. Create forms linked to database tables that enable the company to enter, update and delete data from the database. (Question 3, 15%) 4. Write queries to retrieve the following sets of information: a. An annual report showing the number of orders and the value of the orders placed by each supplier, as a bar chart (10%) b. A monthly order report for a specific supplier (10%) c. A letter to a supplier containing details of a purchase order (10%) (Question 4, 30%) 5. Embed each of the above queries in procedural code attached to a form. The queries are to be executed in response to events occurring to one or more controls within the form. The results for 4c are to be displayed within a Word document (10%). An Excel chart is to be used for query 4a (15%). (Question 5, 25%) 6. Provide a brief user guide containing system documentation (max. 1 page). 7. Provide a description of your testing strategy and some example test data and results (max 2 pages). ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The programs which need to be used are VB, Word and Database.
