I have a need for a lisp routine that will export square footage into a text document. To understand the need and perhaps find a better solution, I'll explain what I am trying to accomplish. I develop many tenative tract maps (subdivide a large parcel into residentail lots). Part of my task is to list the square footage of each lot. Currently, I draw all my parcels (sometimes blocks) with 'Polylines' and then list them one at a time copy/pasting the square footage info into a list. Usually it is no issue, but when I am subdividing 106 acres into over 400 lots, it is devasting to make changes to the layout. So that being said, what I am seeking is a lisp routine generate the square footage information into a text document based on order of selection. It would be also useful if the lisp routine will automatically number the selections made and on different layer. Example: Lot 1 = 7200, Lot 2 = 7200, Lot 3 = 7216, etc ... whatever the square footage of the polylines I select, the Lot number on one layer and the square footage on another ... I can then transfer the list from text to the locations on the site. It would be even better if the lisp routine will place the text in the middle of the selection or onto a node (or point) I can provide in each lot for pinpoint location ... I am open for suggestions if this doesn't seem feasible ... Find attached sample drawing in AutoCAD 2002 for better understanding ... Within border sheet are property lines in the form of closed polygons and some are within blocks ... outside the border are all polygons without blocks ... it is preferred the lisp routine will read block definitions (Ii will isolate property layer), but I can live with exploding them temporarily like ouside the border if it is not feasible ... ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform AutoCAD 14 - 2006
