A python QT graphics view for an itemmodel

have a QAbstractTableModel with the following columns : x, y, z width, height, length rotation around x, rotation around y, rotation around z each row in this table should correspond with one item in the GraphicsView. For the graphicsview, it should be possible to select one axis (X,Y, or Z) and an offset on that axis. The graphics view then displays a cross section of the items in the table. in a first phase, the graphics view should only 'listen' to the table model, so if the the table model emits a signal a row has changed, the graphics view should update itself.
