Compile the open source CLucene using Adobe Alchemy.? Info on these technologies:

Alchemy is a preview technology from Adobe that enables compiling C/C++ code to run in the Flash Player 10 AVM2 runtime.? See the Alchemy site for more info and samples.?
Our objective is to access a clucene index (stored on the file system) from an ActionScript application (in Adobe AIR) and perform queries on the full text lucene index.
This project involves exposing a few essential functions from clucene and compiling the library using Alchemy to a .swc file, which can then be used by ActionScript 3 programs.?
## Deliverables
We discuss details of how we want to expose the CLucene api.? We only require basic lucene functionality (adding, deleting, and querying for documents in an index).
The primary objective is to get the CLucene library to compile using the Alchemy toolkit.?
I recommend looking at the included Samples directory in the Alchemy toolkit for examples compiling simple C programs into .swc files and testing them from ActionScript.
