Configure Apache on Ubuntu for Mod_Mono & PHP

Need some remote help to assist us adding PHP to Apache The server is already running Apache/Mod_Mono and processing aspx files without an issue. I have followed the process outlined on several sites including [login to view URL] With no success... This should be a couple of minutes job for someone who knows Apache and PHP-CGI better than me. Note that we already know mod_mono is not compatible with libapache2-mod-php5 but should work with php-cgi. We can provide a web ex session to provide access.
