Very simply put, we are looking for a coder to provide us with VB.NET 3.5 Framework code that takes in a file via ASP.NET (with the browse button) and recognizes the common fields in a resume.
Obviously resumes change and there are some things that will be different, but, since these all originate in the US and are in the same industry they are extremely similar.
Two things need to happen:
1) the ones that fail should appear in a list box with a hyperlink to click which will open the file from that directory in which it was found to begin with
2) the resumes which pass (and there should be an extremely high percentage of those (over 80%) ) should have the common fields parsed out.
EVERYTHING on the resume needs to either be parsed or the front end would have a nice way to "gather input" from a user to decipher where the information should go.
This information will end up in a database and every single column will be accurate or this job will be considered a failure.
Sample resumes will be given upon acceptance of the project.
Information that will need to be parsed will be Name (first, middle, last), email, phone (cell and home), fax, address (address line 1, 2, 3, city, state, zip), and education (only the degree i.e. PHD, BS, BA, etc.)

## Deliverables
It seems to be a smart idea that several "styles of input" are generated on the front end for resumes that do not parse correctly. Like the ones that fail would have a couple different areas in which a radio button could be chosen to select the "correct" parsing.
We do not want DLL's we want the page (code behind) for the ASPX page.
