Application for sending data from client location to server location using broadband/leased line connectivity is to be developed. The details are as below 1. On each client machine there will be a FTP folder getting text files. All those text files have to be pushed to a static ip on specific port 2. There could be 7 to 20 such client communicating with the server. 3. On server there has to be a listener which will receive those text files and store them in a folder. 4. From those files, we have to extract certain information which shall be at predefined locations and populate that information into predefined database. 5. There has to be a GUI for accessing that database using various search criteria like date, time, No. etc. Note: 1. we will prefer to have browser based GUI. 2. We will prefer to use MySQL as database

I am certificated C# programmer working with .NET/C# since 2002. My main specialization is programming ASP.NET applications, WCF/WEB services, WEB security and database programming. MS SQL server is my main database but mySQL gives me no problems too. I shall build you ASP.NET MVC3 application. I can build for you PHP application on server side if you prefer working with Linux server. I shall use jQuery and Microsoft AJAX on client side in both cases. The only issue is time difference: living in Lithuania I am in +2GMT time zone and this complicates direct communications with India.
