Change dst file to larger size embroidery format .dst file

Hi there, I have a dst file of a logo which is approximately 3.5x3.5 inches. However the printer told me if I wanted to embroider the logo at 7 inches, I would need to have the dst file changed to this. Is this true? Or is it quite easy to change the size of the dst? If so, how much would it cost to have this work done. Thanks very much!

I do this all the time, I have had training and I know how to make perfect embroidery files ............ It is true.. The file needs to be redrawn from scratch into vector format so it can be scaled without losing any quality.. I can do that within a few hours.

I am very experient in embroidery design and digitizing and i have many samples i can show. I have made a technical course by Tagima and for the last 5 years i have made more than 1000 and made myself the samples on the machines. It can resized but maybe needed some adjustments.
