I am using a javascript month picker ([login to view URL]) to just the month and year for a text input field. The script works great for my requirements except that you can not blank out the input once it has been selected. For example, say a month field is optional and I put a month in it via the script. Then I change my mind and want to leave the field blank. There is no way for me to blank out the entry. When I click on the field I am forced to enter a month or leave the field, but can't empty out a previously entered month. I want to be able to select the text in the input box and then hit delete on my keyboard to blank out the input, just like I would be able to do in a standard text input field. I have attached a working html page that utilizes the month picker in its current form.
