I would like some help creating a blog using expression engine. These are the basic elements I will need in the blog design: Recent Posts Popular Posts Category Links Links to Offers, Promos, Premium Content Banner Ads RSS and Share Icons Contact Info Write to Us Link Including: a solid custom header, clear navigation, comments, social sharing icons, custom footer, and area for featured projects (similar to sponsored banners). I want to have the site in a very simple and easy layout. The site would open to a presentation that I have created with flat images that are JPEGS. There are 21 slides/images that tell a story about what is happening today in marketing it is called "change is upon us" I want to use these slides as the main web site. Each slide would be the size of the screen and you would scroll through each one to read about each story. The images are already created they just need to be coded. At the end of the slide we would have a custom header with the name of my freelance business and then a short description and introduction about who I am and then go into the blog. I am also open to other designs considerations and flexible. I want to use expression engine as my backend and CMS and use jquery for navigation, and have the site built with HTML5 and be fully mobile friendly across all platforms. I want to keep the site simple and I have some design ideas for colour and background. I have a very small and limited budget, but I am a consultant who has potential projects with larger clients for web development and design. I want to establish a strong working partnership with a developer who can help me at the moment.
