I am confident that I can figure out the issue and provide a solution. I have developed a number of "adapters" for API's to VB6 for various projects some of which were REST API's. My experience tells me that usually it is some form of permissions error but your test would seem to have eliminated that from the equation. Has anyone tried creating a C# wrapper, then consuming that in VB6? That would possibly give you concrete evidence that there is nothing wrong with the API and permissions would be eliminated. There are a number of examples on the net from which a test could quickly completed. I am new to freelancer so I only have a couple of project reviews but in both cases I was given additional work by the people I did the work for. I like challenges like this I realize my cost may be higher than other freelancers but my work will be quality. I can be reached on skype if that is more convenient at brent.mccaw.
