Comic

I'm slowly in the process of looking for an artist to possibly draw a comic book. Possibly long term. The story is mostly complete, I'm trying to take care of that process to at least be clear on it. The story is heavily fantasy themed. The style I'm looking for is 'manga' style. I've been greatly inspired by works such as One Piece by Eiichiro Oda, Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto, Bleach by Tite Kubo and Kongou Banchou and more recently Nanatsu No Taizai both by Nakaba Suzuki, and also Dragon Ball Z by Akira Toriyama. One particular thing I've seen a lack of in american comics that these artists have drawn often in their work is expression, even exaggerated ones which can often be found in the works listed above. One particularly good example I've found is the 'The Promise' comic line made as a continuation of the Avatar the Last Air Bender series. This is my first major project I intend to have published. My ultimate goal and dream would be for it to be made into an anime series but I would just as settle for it being entirely illustrated as a completed comic. As my first project, I'm attempting to purposely keep it simple, both so its easier to produce and try to attract a wide range of readers. This may be a long term project once it finally gets off the ground, so I'm attempting to ask and look around for an artist as soon and early as I possibly can. I was also curious if this can be asked: For an artist working with a non-artist collaborator, is it easier to just have the story or would it be easier to have the story board or both to serve as additional guides to work with? This is my first time trying freelancer.com so for the time being I wouldn't mind trying out some concept sketches for characters and environments. Thank you in advance for your time and advice.
