audio / video upload and streaming

This is part of a web project built on MEAN stack. Users are already able to upload audio and video. There are a number of issues about video /audio upload and streaming ; around performance, browser compatibility and mobile device compatibility. I want them to be resolved, resulting in acceptable UX of video upload, streaming and presentation . Clear specifications of performance and compatibility requirements will be provided. Currently Mongodb Gridfs is used as storage [login to view URL] transcoding is setup with ffmpeg. Tools are open to suggestions and subject to change.
