There are a lot of 'goto' commands in the fortran code which for matlab code sometimes changing them to 'while' or 'if' command can be tricky. I looked at fortran code it is not complicated to understand the procedure however I couldn't relate the output of the program to plots !

I am about to finishing my PhD in Computational Physics. I usually use Fortran and Matlab in my study. I believe that I can finish this work without any problem
