Disk space explorer

Design and implement using Borland Delphi (and using Delphi code alone) a simple disk space explorer program. The GUI is very straightforward: there are two buttons (back and forward), and one graphical pie control. You are given full source codes of TPieChart, a custom developed Pie Chart component that can draw very nice looking pie charts in run time (see the attached sample image). Your job is to use and modify the TPieChart to create this application. The application has one input: a directory path, lets use by default "C:\". When the program is opened, it draws a pie of the contents of the directory where the pie areas are based on the amount of data (i.e. how many bytes it contains, either size of the individual file or the sum of file sizes in case of a directory). Of each part of the pie chart (i.e. a directory or a file) the application must draw the following information to the TPieChart as well: * Data item name (i.e. the name of the directory or the file name) * Its size in KB * In case of a directory, the number of sub-directories and files it contains. The program must work without any noticable delays when moving between directories. And here is the tricky part: the program must display a good looking chart no matter what the contents of the current directory is, so it must handle in some smart way cases of e.g. empty directory, directory with hundreds of files, directory with a few sub-dirs and hundreds of files etc. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
