I have a desktop in which ubuntu12.04.4 lts is installed. I also have a bsnl wireless internet connection. (bsnl is internet service provider in India). I wish to connect my Desktop to Internet preferably through a button or link in a website. whoever visiting the website and clicking button or link in it should be connected to my Desktop. I need a software which should connect my Desktop (of course it is having internet connected through bsnl wireless modem) to a person visiting my website [login to view URL] and clicking a link or button in it.

I have worked on C programming systems projects for more than 5 years now and am currently working with NVIDIA developing linux device drivers. So, I know a bit about systems programming. This also coincides with one of the projects I had in mind, about building a remote desktop connection for Android phone. So, I would be interested in this project. I would also like to learn few more details. - do you expect remote desktop connection to work inside a browser? - and should there be support for clients with any kind of OS? Depending on the requirements and the features we include, I would provide an ETA for the project.
