A caricature portrait of a friend from a photograph is required.

A caricature portrait of a very dear friend as part of his birthday celebration is needed. The portrait must be done in a humorous and light-hearted manner. Sketch type, color pencil. Full headshot or head/shoulders. Image must be provided as TIFF, GIF or PNG file in high resolution (at 200-300ppi). Some info about the person: he is into songwriting, is a pretty good singer, is into exercise (weight training) and healthy lifestyle overall, as well as spirituality and self-awareness. Loves soccer, martial arts, rock ballads, and people who are passionate about what they do. I know that those photos may not be the best representation of him but I'm hoping that with enough imagination and intuition one should be able to convey it in a sketch... Bidders are expected to provide either a complete portrait in low-res or at least a draft sketch before selection can be made. Preference will be given to the bidder who will be able to bring out the "soul" of the person, so to speak, as best as possible - not based on portfolio or credentials. **_Please note:_** We will only be considering bids with a sketch/draft sketch provided. My friend's best feature is probably his eyes and his smile. You know how sometimes someone may look somewhat sad but also very deep, intelligent and kind at the same time? We don't want to make him look retarded or depressed or gloomy - but not fake happy either. His friends know him as a great guy, maybe a bit stubborn and stern sometimes but very deep and when his eyes light up with passion it just illuminates the room. We'd like to see him intelligent, confident and deep - maybe with a slight touch of irony and maybe a pinch of sarcasm. |
