add post method to html file

Hello, Please see the attached. What the html file does is that the javascript receives a variable through the URL (e.g. [login to view URL]). The final output is then written on the screen with the [login to view URL]() function. I would like to make a conversion from html to asp. Instead of myself sending the variable through an URL, I would like to have that information posted to this page (now as an asp page), and I would like to have the output to be in the [login to view URL]() form (instead of [login to view URL](). I hope this all makes sense. If it doesn't, please feel free to ask. Thank you
