This nearly works but the programmer did not finish (was paid) and communications were sporadic. The file describes what it is and what needs fixing. Probably very little needs fixing. This is for somebody familiar with MS Visual C/C++ and driving COM ports under Windows. Target is win7-64 or higher but it would be nice if it runs under winXP. we got a physical Win7 machine that is obsolete. We made an image of the machine using a software and we restored this image over a VMWARE Win7 virtual hard drive. unfortunately, the image blue screen on boot. I tried safe mode, same thing. I need an expert to fix the image to make it boot. in other word, we need to "manually" load the image, then remove whatever drivers prevent the machine from booting. I got some expertise in this area but Win7 is pretty old and I didn't work with it for long enough to not remember everything I need to do in the registry to fix this.
