Unity project needs high level technical briefing

In a Unity virtual reality game we are building several players encounter each other in a round space. They move by looking in the direction they want to travel.

In the new version of the vr game, the players will have a controller to change their mood from happy to sad and back, and they will see their current mood on their happy-sad bar at the bottom of the screen. Looking at other players makes their movement will stop while they exchange light signals.

The mood of all the players combined changes the shape and colour of the surrounding sphere.

In a second variation the controller will change the speed. In this case the speed (or lack of speed) of all the players in the sphere combined changes the shape and colour of the surrounding sphere.

Needed: a high level briefing for the unity engineer to build the interaction between the players, meaning the exchange of light signals and the changing of the surrounding sphere because of a collective mood or speed reaching a threshold value. Should answer questions like how the signal exchange takes place, how are the moods or the speeds of the players collected and how are they used to change the surrounding sphere. Must include one or two diagrams. Both variations (mood and speed) should be discussed. Length one and a half to 2 pages. The briefing serves as a technical chapter for a subsidy application.

We have a vr-demo (without the interaction) to get an idea of the concept.
