I have an existing Joomal site 3x that I need to update to 4x. I have installed a new template on a different domain in the same server space that I would like to work from and need my current content, features, etc. to be displayed on the new domain, with that template. If it is better/easier to update the existing site to Joomla 4x and upload the new template that is fine as well but I am worried about too much down time during the development process. We have a Joomal website at site. We are using a Joomla component called "Payplans" to handle paid subscriptions/memberships on the site. Here is a link to a sample checkout page: There are multiple subscriptions available on the site, but the checkout page for all of them is coded by one template PHP file. If you'll notice, we have a "Discount Code" field that can be used for coupon codes. We want to have that discount code field area hidden by default. We want a little image button placed on the page. The Joomla site 3.8.3 has many plugins and up for many years. the frontend is a combination of Joomal + Joomshopping. The redirection after login has been working fine so far. Recently I believe I have removed some articles from trash in Joomla and now the redirection is giving a 404 error.

We have a site built on codeigniter which uses user data of Joomal for registration/login. We use Joomla Admin to mane users. Now, when we block a user using Joomla! Admin, the user is blocked on Joomla site but the user can login on Codeigniter site. We need to edit the codeigniter code so that it will check from database if the user is blocked, if yes, then it will show a message to user about account blocked instead of allowing the user to login.
