The goal of this project is to create a multithreaded automatic phone dialer capable of dialing a list of numbers and reading a text message to the person answering. Requirements: Program must be multithreaded. One thread is used for each phone line. Program communicates with the phone lines using CTADE, available from Intel/Dialogic. Program may dial out on as many phone lines as are available. Any number between 2 and 12 is possible. Program uses Text-To-Speech (TTS) to read a text message during the phone conversation. This project is an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) program. It takes customer calls and records a description of the work they need done. It then phones technicians and assigns them the customer orders. This system will be fully automated, and run on a Win2k platform. It uses Dialogic telephony hardware to answer and dial on multiple telephone lines. There will be a limited use of text-to-speech for information such as account numbers. Uses no voice recognition, so information is stored as either numeric digits or recorded wav/vox files. All outgoing voice prompts will be recorded by our staff, so do not budget time for recording prompts. I am looking for someone who has extensive knowledge of dialogic boards and that can write a set of activex controls to work with dialogic voice boards. Final specs can be worked out but it should be able to handle maximum lines setup by hardware, detect and send tones, record voice, play voice prompts, and more. I know there are other controls out there already but need my own written. You must do all of the source code yourself and not use any outside controls. Ideally candidates will have experience of the Intel CT-ADE development environment using Dialogic telephony hardware. We are interested in using the COM interface, not the VOS system. Experience in a similar field but not specificaly the Dialogic hardware may be useful. Dialogic provide a software simulator which removes the need (for the most part) to have the hardware physically installed in the development PC. For those interested details can be found at : Dialogic provides a COM interface to the hardware and very extensive examples. This should be a very straightforward excerise. Visual Voice 5.0 provided a sample application, "Order Multi" from which our IVR was built. I need someone to write whatever is necessary to replace Visual Voice with Parity's non-graphical tool. Specifically, "Order Multi" has two source modules ( and VC5 Wizard ". This is all built as a dialog application.
